MEET 2 (AWAY) AT CONVINGTON WOODS STINGRAYS

Monday, June 1

Covington Woods Pool, 13743 Woodchester Dr.

• BRING SUNBLOCK, BUGSPRAY, FLASHLIGHTS, & WAGONS!! This meet starts earlier & will be longer than last week. You will walk a bit from parking to the pool.
• If your swimmer planned to be there but will not make it, do not use SportsYou. Message Coach in the form here: swimnt.org/coaches.
• If you are unable to do your volunteer job, do not use SportsYou. Message the Volunteer Director in the form here: swimnt.org/board

TENT PARENTS - Safety is paramount. If a swimmer leaves early, they must sign out with a Tent Parent. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR TENT until all your swimmers are picked up.

TIMELINE

• 3:50 PM SWIMMER SHOWTIME. Apply sunscreen, let dry for 15 minutes then mark swimmers with a sharpie before you leave home. Alcohol-based spray sunscreen after marking will remove the marker. Heat sheets will go out, go here for details: www.swimnt.org/tent-parent-101
• Setup & Breakdown showtime per Setup Chair’s email.
• 3:50 TENT PARENT SHOWTIME, sign in with Tent Parent Chair.
• 4:30 ALL OTHER JOBS SHOWTIME, sign in with the work area Chair.
• 4:45 Timer & Stroke Judge briefing.
• 4:20 Torpedo swimmer warmups.
• 4:55 National Anthem.
• 5:00 Meet begins.
• Shift 2 announced at event 30 and will begin at event 34, no exact time. Shift 2 Timers & Stroke Judges attend the initial briefing if possible. If you are shift 2 and arrive late, there will be a Shift 2 briefing at event 30.

PARKING (see attached map)

• CARPOOLS ENCOURAGED. Limited parking near the pool.
• DO NOT PARK next to the map areas with Xs, there will be “NO PARKING” signs. Do not park in front of the “NO PARKING” signs on streets surrounding the pool. Utilize street parking outside those areas then walk to the pool.
• If you have blue or red accessible parking placards & all accessible spaces are taken, DO NOT PARK in non-accessible reserved spaces. Coordinate a drop-off then park your vehicle elsewhere.

CONCESSIONS

• Gourmet hot dog vendor and Jeremiah's Ice inside the fence.
• Lolo's Chicken & Waffles food truck parked on the street by the tennis courts.
• Candy, chips, oranges, bananas, Gatorade, & water inside the fence.
• All vendors Accepting cash & credit card
