Torpedoes Code of Conduct
Swimming with the Torpedoes should be fun and safe for everyone. With many swimmers and limited supervision, all participants must follow these rules. Parents should review this Code with their swimmer and discuss expectations and consequences.
Expectations
- Show respect and follow directions from coaches and volunteers at all practices and meets.
- No foul, abusive, or inappropriate language.
- Follow all pool safety rules at all times.
- Do not enter the pool until instructed by a coach.
- No unsafe or disruptive behavior (pushing, fighting, running, dunking, etc.).
- Give full attention to coaches during instruction.
- Families are financially responsible for any damage to pool or team equipment.
- Do not walk on the top of the Club pool walls.
- Stay at least two feet away from the baby pool during practices and meets.
Discipline
Failure to follow this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action at the discretion of the coaches or Board of Directors. Consequences may include suspension from practices, meets, or all team activities for the remainder of the season without refund.
Pool Information
The New Territory Torpedoes practice at the Club pool and the Ellis Creek pool. Our home meets are held at the New Territory Club pool. Please see the Practice webpage for more information on the schedule.
