If you are looking for jobs, Meet 1 currently has four (4) open Tent Parent jobs. As previously stated, Tent Parent requires a background check, which takes 3-4 days to process & post. You must email us for the link. Most of the remaining vacancies are Tent Parent all season.

To everyone with a current BG check… please look at the Tent Parent vacancies for tomorrow to grab one. If you have your required shifts, consider swapping out a shift from a later meet for tomorrow. MEET 1 (AWAY) AT GREATWOOD GEYSERS

Tuesday, May 26

Greatwood Community Pool #1, 7225 Greatwood Pkwy, Sugar Land, TX 77479

We are aware of tight turns from school release, especially middle school. Do what you can to pre-pack & have everything squared away for your swimmers tonight to help the transition. We have adjusted the warmups and the start time for this meet to accommodate all the above.

TENT PARENTS - Safety is paramount. If a swimmer leaves early, they must sign out with a Tent Parent. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR TENT until all your swimmers are picked up.

TIMELINE

• SWIMMER SHOWTIME: 4:30 PM. Apply sunscreen, let it dry for 15 minutes then mark swimmers with a sharpie before you leave home. Alcohol-based spray sunscreen after marking will remove the marker. Heat sheets will go out this evening, go here for details: www.swimnt.org/tent-parent-101
• Setup & Breakdown showtime per Setup Chair’s email.
• 4:30 Tent Parent showtime, sign in with Tent Parent Chair.
• 4:45 All other jobs showtime, sign in with your work area Chair.. 
• 5:00 Timer & Stroke Judge poolside briefings.
• 5:00 Torpedo swimmer warmups.
• 5:30 National Anthem, meet begins.
• Shift 2 announced at event 35 with ~5 minute lead-time, no exact time.

PARKING (see attached map)

DO NOT PARK in the Greatwood Recreation Center lot.

Observe "No Parking" signs in the surrounding neighborhoods. DO NOT PARK in the neighborhoods (e.g., The Trails or The Knoll). 

Utilize street parking on Greatwood Parkway, additional parking is available at Dickinson Elementary School (you can walk through the tunnel to the pool).
