Torpedo Families - 

We have a few Tent Parent jobs still open, but the more critical vacancies are the open Relay Judge positions.

Each season, we need to fill approximately 500 volunteer shifts. These shift are just for swim meets and do not inlcude parties, popsicles, event planning, pursuing sponsor partnerships, website design, league meetings, or the hundreds of combined hours of work year round required to keep this team running.

Most teams, including ours, use a point system - not for the points themselves, but to help help every family do their share. Our goal is to fill all critical roles, not to track numbers. Meets simply will not start if key positions are unfilled.

We work hard to make the point system as fair as possible, but no system is perfect. Things happen - late withdrawals, emergencies, and some (very few) families miss the minimum points. The point system sets a baseline, but it can't predict our needs with complete accuracy.

We have many families well over their minimum points, to those families - THANK YOU!!  If you’ve reached your minimum, please still check for open roles each week. Your extra help keeps our meets running smoothly.

Again, we are not able to start meets without critical positions filled.
